精華區beta EngTalk 關於我們 聯絡資訊
About few days ago, I was driving and listening to ICRT. The DJ (I forgot his name la) was having a chat in an internet chatroom and playing some really nice songs at the same time. He mentioned about one of the listener's messenge. The first line is "My English is not well", then, the DJ just said "let go, your English is excellent." That is a truely weird situation in Taiwan, after we learned English more than 10 years, we still do often say "My English is not well." The reason is definitely simple but hurt - most of us do not have guts. Maybe next time we should just keep the "let go" thought in mind, and we can speak any foreign language out loud, then, change the cliche first line to "I can speak English." -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 220.133.224.79
