This is a joke my friend shared with me. It's about her teacher in high school.
The students were told to fill in the blanks, it was a vocabulary lesson and
from within the choices given, of course you would have to pick the best possible
answer.
Given the question:
The birds are ___________ in the air.
What would you fill in?
FLYING, isn't is?
The funny thing is, the teacher had poor pronounciation.
And the answer evolved to be........
"Class, the answer should be 'The birds are f-R-y-i-n-g in the air.' Make sure you
got it right...."
yeah, make sure we all got the answer right..and said it right...pronounced it right...
haha..:)
