[Ask] WHY ?

Hi guys...I have a problem here, I need you guys give me advice.

emm...this problem has been bothering me for a long time.


Actually, my ability in English is not that good enough to tell you that

"I have a good command of Enlgish." But my Eng. ability is not bad.

For example, I scored 725 on TOEIC without a sufficient preparation, I only

did three simulate exam papers by myself. I passed GEPT Intermidate-high for

the first test, but I failed to get the prize because I couldn't pass the

wirtten test (60/80).

What I told you above all doesn't mean to show off, and I know that

it is not good enough to show off cuz there are many ppl here have a great

command of English. I just don't want to be misundersood......


and...MY PROBLEM is that WHY I CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHAT THE QUESTION ASKS

sometimes, even often ?


I did many mistakes while I was sitting for the exam.


The problem I did wrong answer to the question is that I didn't really

understand  the question in ENGLISH.


I am frustrated.

WHY?

Hope that you guys can give me advice.

Well, from my experience in doing exam papers in Eng. , my reading part

is not always all right, but the percentage of right is not that low.


I know that doing reading part has some tips, so it cannot be said that

the scores is proportion to the ability in English reading absolutely, but

sometimes it does.
