As title, I've just returned to Taiwan from Singapore, which is the best place for we backpackers to go. This highly developed country boasts convinient MRT as well as bus system so that my friend and I were able to wander throughout the country like local islanders without any obstacle. On the other hand, communication or language is the last thing you need to worry about. English, Chinese, Malayan, sometimes Taiwanese and Cantonese are fine with Singaporean, although Singaporean are infamous for their distinct accent, which sometimes confuses foreigners. I would like to share what I saw and what I experienced there in S'pore, but I believe that many people here have been to S'pore before, maybe more than twice. So, to be brief, I can tell that the best part of S'pore would be the diversity of food and, you know, the city itself! If anyone here wish to talk more about S'pore or individual travel, then my MSN is as follows: otterheron@hotmail.com -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 125.229.15.231
