[Ask ] a question about "pro-life"

I see this word in the reality competition show of America's Next Top Model cycle 8.
The first challege the girls meet is they have to pose for different topic, such as
"pro-fur", "anti-gun", and so on.  But I really have no idea what "pro-life" means.
Can someone who knows that tell me?  I really appreciate it.
