    Some English essays touch off my memory while I am reading them from

    Internet Websites. I am not so concerned about their contents, as I am

    about the time that Ispend reading them. I usually spend several minutes

    to read them – more than I should. Otherwise, I am not able to understand

    what the writer is trying to express.One reason that I can’t understand

    some essays is that they are over my level. The other reason is that some

    essays use Chinglish (Chinese-English). So I have to use the Chinese way

    of thinking in order to understand the writer’s meaning. Why are so many

    students making mistakes – as I did before? Certainly, I still make

    mistakes when I am careless. But I try my best to get rid of my mistakes.

    Writing English is not just for show. It is for study (n). So we should

    use correct English and know how to spell it. This is the reason we study.

    This is the duty of students who study English.
