Sharpen listening skills How people ace English test in listening has still been confusing me for a long time. Having devoted myself to watching English channels for several days in a roll, I still cannot catch ideas what they are talking about, no matter how many times I tune up the volume. Well, it proves right that we cannot get a better understanding from listening at higher volume, which my teacher has said in class but nevertheless I took it with a pinch of salt at that moment. By the way, I think, with regard to the few weeks working on English learning intensively, the best way to improve one's performance on writing consists in long and untiring essay practice, with continually reading articles from varieties of sources as references.
