My name is Janey.

I'm fifteen years old.

There're six people in my family, including my parents, my two brothers,
and my younger sister.

My parents work hard to support the family.

We kids get along well with one another.

Our best time together as a family is during dinner every day.

When I was seven, we moved from Hualien to Hsinchu because of my father’s job.

I am currently in the 9th grade,
and I am working hard to prepare for the basic examination.

With my test score,
I wish I can get into National Hsinchu Girl`s Senior High School.

I first started learning English when I was eleven years old.

Before that, I didn’t have any experience with learning English,
so English as a subject was relatively new to me.

However, I am happy to say that through my teachers' continuous instruction,
my English is improving.

Although my English is not that good,
I can already engage in simple dialogues in English.

One day, I spoke with a missionary from England.

After conversing, he told me, “Your English is pretty good!”

I am very happy to receive such confirmation from him.

In the future, I hope to become a lawyer to help others
and to maintain a sense of justice in the world.

Having good English skills is essential to becoming a lawyer.

I'll do my best to learn English as well as to obtain
more knowledge and to have fun with English.
