How long have you been learning English?
15 years, and I spent my last 9-10 years in the U.S.
What does English mean to you? What do you like about it?
English, just like Chinese, is a tool for communication.
There are ways to use the tool to be efficient, but to follow
them as the Bible would certainly limit ones effectiveness.
I like to use English and Chinese like a fork and a knife,
one supplement the other to paint a complete picture.
As I know more about the American culture, learning English
became an easier task. I like the straightforwardness when
communicating in English.

I joined the PTT community in the hope to meet new friends,
nice to meet you all.
