there are too many superstitions
don't let a black cat cross in front you or else you will get
bad luck
this is a common one

Before I became a Christian, I used to check the website about signs of zodiac
to see what color should I wear today to get good luck.

I personally know many devout Christians girls, who go to church every week,
yet are crazy about horoscope, especially when it comes to dating guys.
They would fuss over things like whether to date a guy whose zodiac
sign is not compatible, etc. It is my belief that superstitions have very
little to do with one's religious beliefs. It probably has more to do with
one's sense of insecurity. Just my two cents' worth, no offence meant to
anyone.

there is a tranditional superstition that the black dogs with white paw will
bring misfortune. In this conception, a lot of gods are forsaken. That's
really a problem we should consider.
