Spanish Word of the Day (Sunday, January 18, 2009) decir, verb to say Decir is a very common verb in Spanish, just as to say is in English. It has many irregular forms, as the next two examples in the present tense show. You use this first phrase to agree emphatically with what someone has just said: Eso digo yo. (That’s just what I say.) And you can use this next phrase if the person you’re talking to says something surprising: ¿Qué me dices? (You don’t say! Well I never!) If you want to find out how to say something in Spanish, you use the phrase ¿Cómo se dice...? ¿Cómo se dice “mouse” en español? (How do you say “mouse” in Spanish?) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.175.224.222
