finished filming on FEAR OF FANNY for BBC 4 and is now filming on RUBY IN THE
SMOKE for the BBC. She will then go on to shoot the UNTITLED WOODY ALLEN

in Woody Allen's latest film.

Details have emerged about Woody Allen's latest London shoot, and the big
news is that the film will star relative newcomer Hayley Atwell.
Aside from a lead role in the recent BBC series 'The Line of Beauty', Atwell
has been seen in little else, and Allen says he is excited to be casting the
young actress.
Speaking to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the diminutive
writer-director said: 'There's a girl I'm hoping to discover named Hayley
Atwell who I think is very, very beautiful and I am going to present her so
you can see what I am talking about. You can share my enjoyment of her.'
The 'Untitled Woody Allen Project' will also star Ewan McGregor, Colin
Farrell and Tom Wilkinson, and follow two brothers turning to a life of crime
when their money troubles get the better of them.
Having abandoned plans to shoot in Paris, the film will be Allen's third
London-set flick in a row (following 'Match Point' and the forthcoming
'Scoop'), and is set to shoot in and around the capital this summer with a
$20.7 million budget.

Atwell gets female lead in Allen film

Newcomer Hayley Atwell has landed the female lead role in Woody Allen's next
film project, Production Weekly reports.
The actress, whose credits include small roles in the TV series' "Whatever
Love Means" and "The Line of Beauty," will star alongside Colin Farrell and
Ewan McGregor in the as-yet-untitled film.
Allen will direct the film about two brothers with serious financial problems
who turn to a life of crime that makes them enemies.
The movie will begin shooting this summer in London.
Atwell has several film projects lined up, including the indie flicks "Ruby
in the Smoke" and "Fear of Fanny."
