Potter movie to start filming in Lakes soon
Film bosses have confirmed that Bridget Jones star Renee Zellwegger will come
to the county in April to film a movie about Beatrix Potter.
Miss Zellwegger will play Beatrix in the film entitled ‘Miss Potter’, and
is said to be doing a lot of research on her role. The film will co-star
British actor Ewan McGregor, as Potter’s finance Norman Warne.
As well as the Lake District, filming will also take place in London and on
the Isle of Man.
