Ewan McGregor in autograph ban
POLICE have banned Ewan McGregor from signing autographs for fans outside
a London theatre.
McGregor, 34, is currently performing to crowds in the musical Guys and
Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End, but police, fearful of
a further terrorists attacks, have told bosses at the theatre that they
should act to stop large crowds gathering outside the auditorium.
Now a ban has been imposed on McGregor and the rest of the cast signing
autographs after the show. The move has left fans of the Creiff-born star,
keen to meet their idol, disappointed.
A spokesman for the Piccadilly confirmed that McGregor and other stars
have been warned not to stop and talk to fans.
