Ewan McGregor takes low wage for latest flick
Ewan McGregor is being paid just $510 (GBP285) a week for playing a gay
man in his latest movie.
The Scottish actor, whose last film The Island cost $122 million (GBP67.9
million) to make, is filming dark comedy Scenes Of A Sexual Nature in
London where he is earning the lowest wage for an actor.
Oscar-nominated actress Sophie Okonedo and Dame Eileen Atkins will also
appear in the low budget movie focusing on the lives of seven couples
during the course of a single afternoon.
Writer Aschlin Ditta says, "We were a bit cheeky, writing to everybody
that we did. But we ended up getting our first choices."
Summary of Scenes of a Sexual Nature
Comedy will explore the relationships of seven British couples during one
afternoon.
