1.(20分)Pareto Analysis is a statistical technique in decision making that
is used for the selection of limited number of tasks that produce
significant overall effect. It uses the Pareto Principle(also know as the
80/20 rule)the idea that by doing 20% of the work you can generate 80% of
the benefit of doing the whole job. Or in terms of quality improvement, a
large majority of problems(80%)are produced by a few key causes(20%). This
is also known as the vital few and the trivial many. Please give a real
case including data table and bar-chart graph corresponding to this data
table to show the concept of this analysis.
2.a)(5分)What is Business Intelligence? What are the major application domains
(應用領域)it may include?
b)(15分)請由兩方面"目地"及"方法"說明 客戶忠誠分析(Customer Loyalty Analysis)
、客戶結構分析(Customer Profile Analysis)及產品定位分析(Product Position
Analysis)
3.a)(10分)Give three most commonly-used tools/technologies of BI. Briefly
explain the functional characteristics(功能性特性) for each tool/technology.
b)(10分)Use an example including data, tables,and graphs to show the
functional characteristics of each tool/technology.
4.(20分)何謂協同型CRM(Collaborative CRM)、分析型CRM(Analytical CRM)、操作型CRM
(Operational CRM). 並舉例說明之。請用表格方式做答。
5.a)(10分)請Draw一個完整且可以容易被理解的圖(Comprehensive diagram)來表示BI's
Road Map。此一Road Map為一有層次之功能架構圖，一般包括使用者介面層、應用系統
層、資料倉儲/整合性資料庫層、資料萃取轉換層、作業性資料/資料庫層。
b)(10分)特別針對如何從作業性資料/資料庫層將資料萃取轉換至資料倉儲/整合性資料
庫的技術及方法提出說明。
c)(10分)資料倉儲的模式，一般分為星狀結構(Star Schema)及爆米花式結構(Snowflake
)，請用實例說明兩者不同。
