No penalty for Vettel after passing under yellows

  In a post-race investigation at Sepang, FIA Race Stewards discovered that
race winner Sebastian Vettel was guilty of overtaking under yellow flags -
illegal in the sporting regulations - although the Red Bull driver has been
handed no penalty.

  With Fernando Alonso having retired and pulled off to the infield on the
run to Turn 4, Vettel lapped the Lotus of Jarno Trulli before slowing on the
apex at Turn 4 whilst looking at the Italian's car. With Johnny Herbert
acting as the driver to join three other stewards this weekend, the FIA
report read as follows:

  'Having received a report from the Race Director (Charlie Whiting) that Car
5 Sebastian Vettel overtook Car 18 Jarno Trulli whilst yellow flags were
displayed at the approach to Turn 4, the Stewards, having viewed video and
telemetry evidence and heard evidence from the Driver and Team Representative,
 find that the Driver did breach Article 2.4.5.1 b) of Appendix H of the
International Sporting Code.

  However, the Stewards, having noted that the Driver made a very large
reduction in speed through the yellow flag area and that he understood that
Car 18 was slowing with an obvious problem, DECIDE in accordance with Article
 16.2 a) of the Formula One Sporting Regulations to impose no penalty.'
