Bernie Ecclestone has admitted there are serious concerns over whether
the inaugural Korean Grand Prix will go ahead in four weeks' time.
老怪承認四週後韓國 GP 能不能開幕的確大有問題。

Until now, Ecclestone has been consistently upbeat in the face of media
reports the venue will not be ready in time and that the infrastructure
is not in place to support the grand prix. Organisers have also insisted
all will be fine come the October 24 race.
截至目前為止，老怪一再反駁媒體關於韓國 GP 場地無法如期準備好的報導。
主辦單位也堅持 10/24 的比賽絕對沒問題。

But with pressure mounting in the light of the almost farcical scenes
in Delhi where the Commonwealth Games are taking place, Ecclestone told
reporters: "Until it's on there's always concerns obviously. We have to
get lucky and hope it will happen."
不過在新德里大英國協運動會令人傻眼的前車之鑒壓力之下，老怪告訴記者說：
「直到準備好之前顯然是一定會有疑慮的。我們得運氣夠好祈禱它會準備好。」

There was due to be an FIA inspection on September 21 but that was
delayed by a week, and it is now believed it will not happen until a
fortnight before the race weekend. Under FIA regulations, the whole
venue should have been fully ready a minimum of 60 days before the event.
9/21 應該要做的 FIA 檢驗被延後一週，現在可能得繼續延到比賽日兩週前。
依照 FIA 規定，場地應該至少要在比賽 60 天前準備好。

When asked about leaving things so late, Ecclestone told the BBC: "It's
quite dangerous what we've done actually but it's a case of 'do we
cancel the race or not?' They say it's all going to be OK, so we hope
they are right."
被問到為什麼拖到這麼晚，老怪跟 BBC 說：「我們做的事的確是很危險，不過這
個問題是『要不要取消比賽？』他們說不會有問題，所以我們也希望他們是對的。」
