F1's usual circuit designer Hermann Tilke has apparently visited Donington
Park in contemplation of a major upgrade to the Leicestershire circuit.

Although derided by some, it has been claimed that the venue, scene of
Ayrton Senna's legendary victory in 1993, is stepping up a bid to become
the new home of the British Grand Prix if Silverstone drops off the annual
F1 schedule.
雖然有些諷刺,但這條因為Senna而在1993帶有傳奇性
色彩的賽道,被要求舉辦F1英國大賽.

Faced with the reality that Donington is in even more dire need of renovation
than Silverstone, however, F1 Chief Executive Bernie Ecclestone said last
month: "I think there is more chance of Donington having the money (to do it)
than the BRDC."
事實上Donington需要整修的部份比銀石還多,
然而Ecclestone在上個月談話說到:我認為Donington
比BRDC有更多的預算,所以Donington會有較大的機會

German designer Tilke's company Tilke GmbH, and Donington Park,
did not comment on the latest rumours.
德國設計師Tilke跟他的公司以及Donington Park賽道都沒對
