"在中間起跑總是有危險，" 從12位起跑的Alonso在退賽後說。
"這次是Nakajima撞到我們。"
"There's always that danger when you start from the
middle of the grid," Alonso, starting from 12th, said after
his retirement.
"This time it was Nakajima who crashed into us and that
was that."

他補充:
"二場在西班牙的比賽都退賽。這非常不幸，雖然這次不是機械
方面的問題。我們希望能在西班牙更幸運一點。"
He added: "Two races in Spain and two retirements.
It's very unlucky although this time it wasn't a mechanical
problem.
Let's hope that we are a bit more lucky at Spa."

Alonso留在他的賽車裡有一陣子，希望回到比賽，但他的Renault
賽車損壞太嚴重，對Valencia的西班牙支持者來說傷當失望。
Alonso stayed in his car for a while, hoping to return to the
race, but his Renault was too damaged, much to the
disappointment of the Spanish fans at Valencia.

"我們等待賽車檢查的結果，" Alonso說。
"他們評估了損傷，除後方尾翼之外，懸吊和變速箱都有損害，
那需要花一小時更換。"
"We were waiting to check the car," Alonso added.
"They evaluated the damage and, apart from the rear
wing, there was also damage to the suspension and the
gearbox and that would have taken over an hour to change."
