Howett keen, but admits no talks

  Toyota has openly declared its intention to try to unite Fernando Alonso
with one of its single seaters for the 2008 season.

    頭又大明白表示爭取小新2008年加盟的意圖。

  Amid the Spaniard's increasingly untenable position at McLaren, Toyota
President John Howett joined Renault counterpart Flavio Briatore in publicly
declaring the Japanese giant's interest in Alonso.

    看準小新在M隊的處境愈來愈艱難，頭又大車隊頭頭John Howett與黑面蔡一樣
公開宣稱車隊對小新有興趣。

  "Toyota would be very interested, if he should be available," Howett is
quoted as saying by the news agency Sport-Informations-Dienst.

    Howett在受訪時表示：「假如有機會爭取他的話，頭又大當然非常感興趣。」

  The Briton added, however, that Toyota has not yet held detailed discussions
 with the 26-year-old.

    然而Howett也表示，頭又大尚未和小新就細節部分加以討論。

  Jarno Trulli will remain with the team next season, with Ralf Schumacher
leaving after the Brazilian Grand Prix.

    特努力明年將續留頭又大，而小舒在巴西站後則會離隊。
