Kubica 在Sepang拔得頭籌~

BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica led the way as
this week's three-day test at Malaysia's Sepang
International Circuit got underway on Tuesday.
Kubica was just over a tenth quicker than
Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen as ten teams began
preparations for the Malaysian Grand Prix.

本週二在馬來西亞Sepang賽道上為期三天的
試跑中，BMW Sauber車隊的Robert Kubica
在參加試跑準備的十隊中，以單圈最快領先

In line with the 2007 Testing
Agreement, teams were only running one car
each and at BMW, Kubica carried out a varied
programme including set-up, evaluation of new
aero parts for the, as well as the two tyre
compounds that Bridgestone will be supplying
for the April 8 race.

根據2007試跑協議，各隊均只派一部車測
試，而代表BMW的Kubica正肩負了測試
各項調校、評估F1.07新氣流組件，及兩
顆預計在4月8號大賽中亮相，Bridgestone

Kubica was the busiest man, running 92 laps,
while at Ferrari, Australian Grand Prix winner
Raikkonen completed 54 in the F2007. The Finn
will continue work on Wednesday before
handing over to Felipe Massa for the final day.

超忙碌的Kubica，在試跑中跑了92圈，相較
於法拉利澳洲站冠軍Kimi只用F2007完成了
54圈。預計芬蘭仔本週三會再接再厲，最後
一天就要交棒給好隊友Massa測試了。

Alexander Wurz was third fastest after 90 laps
for Williams, the Austrian also trying out some
new tyre marking ideas for Bridgestone. "We
worked through a programme of short runs in
the morning, followed by longer runs in the
afternoon to test aero components and set-up
options in preparation for the race next
weekend," explained race team manager Tim
Newton. "It's the first time we've run the car in
such hot conditions so it's important data for
us."

Alexander Wurz先生在跑了90圈後，締造單

Honda's Rubens Barrichello was fourth fastest,
followed by Pedro de la Rosa, the McLaren
tester trying out new components on the
MP4-22. Frenchman Franck Montagny filled
sixth spot for Toyota, despite losing much of the
afternoon to a drivetrain failure, ahead of Super
Aguri's Takuma Sato and David Coulthard in
the Red Bull.

McLaren車隊測試車手Pedro de la Rosa，駕駛

Renault had a frustrating day. Nelson Piquet Jr's
initial focus was establishing a base-line set-up
for the R27, to allow the Brazilian to progress
on to normal set-up work. However, minor
mechanical problems meant he lost a lot of track
time, ending the day ninth in the times after 32
laps.

Renault渡過了挫敗的一天。Nelson Piquet Jr

"It was a shame I didn't manage to do more
running today, but these things can happen
during testing," said Piquet, who hands over to
 Heikki Kovalainen on Wednesday. "This is a
fun circuit, and the conditions are very different
to anything we have encountered so far during
the testing programme. That means this will be
an important, interesting session for us and all
the teams."

Piquet說啦「今天真的蠻慘的，我沒辦法再跑
更多圈了，但測試多少會有這種事發生」，
「這是個有趣的賽道，這種路況在我們測試以
來，可說前所未見，相信對各隊來說都會是個
重要又有趣的過程」。隊友Heikki  Kovalainen
預計週三接手試跑。

Toro Rosso's Scott Speed completed the line-up
in tenth place at Sepang, where as expected,
conditions were hot and fine, with track
temperature peaking at close to 50 degrees
Celsius. Testing continues at the circuit on
Wednesday.

而Toro Rosso車隊的Scott Speed沒意外的排
名第十。一切都火熱熱的準備好囉，最高溫將
近50度C的賽道，正等著星期三的測試。
