Schumi doesn't want son in F1

  While his brother races against him in Formula One, seven-time champion
Michael Schumacher says he does not want his son, Mick, to follow in his
footsteps.

    當他的老弟在F1場上與其競爭時，7屆世界冠軍大舒說他不希望他的兒子Mick
跟隨他的腳步。

  "I probably would be much happier if he chose another sport or job,"
Schumacher told The Independent newspaper. "The burden for any son of a
big name is just so high - I have seen this with Damon Hill or Jacques
Villeneuve. They fight against so much more than any rivals; at least
at the beginning, they are constantly compared."

    「如果他選擇其他的運動項目或工作，我可能會比較開心」大舒告訴「獨立
報」：「任何大人物之子的重擔是非常沈重的 - 我已經在Damon Hill和JV身上
見識到這點。他們比其他的競爭對手更要為此奮戰，至少在一開始時，他們總是
被拿來 (和其父) 比較」。

  "I would want my son to be able to make his own way, uncompared," he
added. "But of course, if he fell in love with racing and absolutely
wanted to go this way I'd support him. But thank God it does not look
like this at the moment. He does so many sports, I don't see a preference
by now."

    「我希望我兒子能走自己的路，不要老是被拿來和我比較」他補充道：「但
是當然啦，如果他對賽車產生熱愛而只想往這條路走，我會支持他。不過感謝老
天，目前還看不出有這種可能。他從事相當多種類的運動，目前我看不出他的偏
好」。
