標題[情報]Mika：我向Schumacher致意！

猶記Schumacher在宣布退休的感言時，他高度的稱許芬蘭飛人Mika Hakkinen是他生涯中
最可敬的對手，因為他們之間的對抗是純粹的場上競技，芬蘭車手當然欣喜的接受了這份
恭維，同樣也回報他的致意。
「聽到他這麼說我感到非常高興，那真是一段美好的回憶，沒有爭議的碰撞事故，也不會
在賽後記者會發牢騷，我想這是Michael對我有高度評價的最大原因吧，當然我也是如此
看待他！」
即將到來的最後一場比賽儼然Schuamcher必然最渴望榮耀引退，Hakkinen談到目前的情勢
不免讓人提起這位Ferrari車手過去的爭議性事件：「Michael的生涯紀錄是白紙黑字不容
質疑，他的成就非常驚人，但是我知道他在賽道上的行事作風，的確讓其他許多車手有很
多的感觸，但是最重要的是Michael很了解自己內心想要的是什麼，比賽的時候他做該做
的事，而他的出發點是希望做對的事情，我想這點才是最重要的。」
Hakkinen自己從2001年之後就再也沒有駕駛過F1車子，以過來人的經驗他最能體會退休對
於Schumi會有多大的衝擊，「我相信他的生活會起很大的變化，不管你有沒有做好心理準
備，你的生活將會有全然不同的面貌，我們都是生來就有賽車魂，賽車已經是不可或缺的
樂趣及感受，好像有個聲音不時的在內心召喚你，尤其是這種無可取代的美妙時刻，不過
Michael是個聰明人，我相信他應該已經有生涯規劃了！」
那Hakkinen自己呢？「如果我說一點都不想念F1，那就是騙人，但是我現在心思都放在
DTM上了，F1永遠是那麼棒，說真的如果我還想回味一下F1的滋味，我想Ron Dennis應該
還會賣個面子給我，但是只能玩玩而已囉！」

Mika: "Respect for Schumacher"
With Michael Schumacher set to retire at the end of the year, former
rival Mika Hakkinen, talking exclusively to Eurosport, reveals his respect
for the seven time world champion.
Days after Schumacher announced he was to retire at the end of the season,
the German spoke highly of the Flying Finn, saying he enjoyed racing against
Hakkinen the most because it was "pure racing."
And the Finnish driver, who won the world title in 1998 and 1999, is
happy to accept the compliment, and return the favour.
"I was very pleased when he said that because it was pure racing," Hakkinen
told Eurosport.
"It was fantastic. It was not about crashing, not complaining after the
race in the press. That's one of the biggest reasons why there is such a high
respect from Michael to me. And vice versa."
Schumacher will contest his final Grand Prix at Interlagos this weekend but
, having pushed Fernando Alonso all the way this year against all the odds,
does not stand a realistic chance of taking a final title.
The race will bring to a close what has been a glorious career, although
Hakkinen knows the Ferrari driver's style has upset a few people along the
way.
"I think of Michael's career in terms of black and white, definitely,"
Hakkinen said. "The result is incredible but there are a lot of mixed feelings
from lot of other drivers about his behaviour on the race track.
"But the most important is Michael knows himself, inside, when he was
racing what he's been doing. If he's been doing the right thing. I think
that's the most important thing."
Hakkinen himself has not driven a Formula One car seriously since 2001,
so he, better than most, knows how retirement will impact on Schumi after
Brazil.
"I'm sure it's going to be a big change in his life," he said. "It doesn't
matter how prepared you are. It's a big change in your life.
"Racing is in our blood. I need to race, it's fun, it's fantastic. It's
such a buzz, it's a great feeling inside you. I don't know if you can do
something else in such a fantastic way. But Michael is a clever guy. I think
he has a plan."
And Hakkinen himself?
"I think it would be unfair if I would say I'm not missing it [Formula 1].
But psychologically my mind is focusing on DTM.
"F1 is always fascinating. To be honest I'm sure Ron Dennis would give me
enough time to test in F1 but it would be only for fun."
