Montoya told to admit own errors

Juan Pablo Montoya has been scolded for immediately
blaming his car after spinning our of the weekend's
Spanish Grand Prix.

To the British, and later to South American reporters,
McLaren's Colombian racer pointed his finger at faulty
"traction control" - a sentiment that was not repeated
in the team's post-race press release.

Reporters also relayed the 30-year-old's view in his
interview at Circuit de Catalunya, earning Norbert
Haug's observation that "everyone should be a team player"


Mercedes' competition director added: "I have learned
that also being critical of yourself is the best way
to improve."
