Liuzzi, Villeneuve exchanged fire after Oz bingle
Vitantonio Liuzzi and Jacques Villeneuve exchanged fire after
the Australian grand prix, with each blaming the other for an
incident that was investigated by the stewards.
Although no penalty was imposed on the 1997 world champion,
Toro Rosso's Liuzzi - who crashed heavily in Melbourne - slammed
Villeneuve, with the post-race team review quoting him as saying :
''I think Jacques might have put me in the wall.''
Obviously, however, the wording left something to be desired,
as an amended press release was issued, with Liuzzi now saying :
''Jacques put me in the wall. I don't know what he was thinking.''
The Italian then told reporters : ''I guess you get used to this sort
of thing from Jacques. He has done it plenty of times before.''
But 34-year-old Villeneuve, who drives a BMW-Sauber, appeared equally angry,
telling 'Speed TV' that he only saw Liuzzi when it was too late.
The Canadian fumed : ''So what the hell was he doing there ?
When I'm on the outside of someone, and I'm not ahead, I lift,
because normally I know I'm going to run out of road.''

在澳洲大賽之後,Liuzzi抱怨JV將他擠出賽道,雖然JV在FIA調查之後並沒有受到處罰.
可是Liuzzi還是認為跟JV脫離不了關係,他跟記者說:我猜你很習慣JV的這種行為.
因為他以前也有類似的情形.
