  This morning Robert Doornbos became the first person ever to drive
a Formula 1 car on the Dutch highway. In a totally secret showcase
the Red Bull driver raced at speeds of up to 326km/h on the A7 in
the North of Holland.

  At 10.32am the little town called Den Oever woke up to the sound
of a Formula One engine. The A7 highway was closed for the occasion
just long enough that Doornbos could complete two runs of the street
circuit.

  Doornbos said about his outing at the highway: "Wow, that was amazing!
Of course I have driven here a thousand times with my car but this is
much more exciting! I want to thank everyone at Red Bull for this great
opportunity!"
