Trulli與Toyota續約至2009年
根據消息來源Jarno Trulli與Toyota洽談續約事宜已經底定，這位義大利車手
將與目前的東家續簽三年的合約直到2009年底，不過這個訊息尚未經由車隊官方證
實宣布。
Trulli應該會相當滿意這個結果，特別是長達三年的保障，以他今年到目前運
氣欠佳的表現，也許能帶給他轉機，被問到對未來的計畫，Trulli說：「F1車隊和
車子的表現，在F1車手的生涯當中扮演著最重要的角色，如果希望能有進步，穩定
性是不二法則，我相信Toyota具有很大的潛力，像去年的成績就讓我感到喜出望外
。」
「今年雖然處於低潮，但是首先絕對不能自暴自棄，我真的相信我能做的到，
也對大環境有信心，只要盡好該做的事，其他就得看事情的發展了，只要能拿到長
期合約將使未來成功的可能性大增，要是一直在換隊，絕對是不利的因素。」對他
而言最重要的是這個合約延續到即將更改規則的2008年之後，「我必需注意將來的
處境，F1會發生什麼變化，為自己設定一個目標。」
「明年賽季應該跟今年差不多，但是接下來的兩年將會有所變動，到時候也許
是大好也可能是大壞，如果修改之後反應還不錯就沒問題，但是如果亂象叢生將可
預期很快的又要改來改去，如果每年這樣搞，對於車手和車隊都不是好事，車手必
須花很多時間去做調適的工作，要是每次車隊又要換上新車手，那又要花更多的功
夫來做不同的研發，所以簽下長期合約對兩方來說都是利多。」

Trulli to sign new Toyota contract
A long-term deal for the Italian

According to reports emerging from both Italy and Britain, Jarno Trulli
will stay at the Toyota team beyond the end of 2006.
In fact, although the deal is not yet thought to have actually been
signed, the Italian driver could be set to win a three-year contract with
the Japanese manufacturer to guarantee his presence on the grid until at
least late 2009.
The early reports suggest that Trulli, to turn 32 in less than a month,
spoke openly about the matter with reporters at Montreal on Saturday prior
to qualifying.
He reportedly said: "Only at the end of a long-term contract can you say
whether your decision was right or not. I don't think it is a good idea to
constantly change teams. These days you can not any longer think from year
to year."
Team-mate Ralf Schumacher is already on a long-term Toyota contract, so
the Trulli news puts an end to rumours linking potential replacements like
Nico Rosberg to the seat.
Incredibly, Trulli has yet to score a point for the team this year.

延續到正賽。
