標題[情報] Mercedes set to switch focus to 2011

Mercedes team boss Ross Brawn says his outfit will switch its focus to the
2011 car following the end of the summer break.
He said Mercedes will work on one more upgrade package that will be
introduced during the Singapore Grand Prix, but admitted the main priority
will be the new car once the summer break ends.
"I think there is one more step we want to do before the end of the year to
take full advantage of the low exhaust position, that is something we will
target for Singapore," said Brawn.
"That was coming through already but clearly after the break our priority
will be the new car."
Brawn conceded the team had not been able to extract the maximum from this
year's car, and felt there was no point in continuing to spend time on it.
"There were another set of regulations this year with no refuelling, and one
or two other things," he said. "We didn't perhaps hit the sweet spot with the
current car, so I don't think we will throw much more resource at it.
"We understand what we need to do next year and that is where we are putting
our major efforts."

新加坡站今年最後一次升級,暑假結束後研發重心就要轉到明年的新車了
感覺今年MGP真的抓不出病因,升級不比別人少,可成效就.....
以目前積分狀況放棄也不意外,反正明年規則又大改,之前不是還有消息要找兵長去做
倍耐力輪胎的季中測試?
