Fiat has called a last-minute unscheduled press conference for 4 pm CET
today, where it is understood that Fiat Group Chairman Luca Cordero di
Montezemolo will announce that he is leaving the company. At this time, no
official reason has been given for Montezemolo's departure, but it's being
reported that he may be mulling a move into politics, possibly to form a new
Italian centrist party. Going speculation also has it that Montezemolo will
be replaced by current group vice-chairman John Elkann.

Fiat在今天下午4點（歐洲中央時間）舉辦臨時記者會。據了解。fiat集團主席
Luca di Montezemolo將會宣佈離開公司。目前官方並沒有為他的離開做任何解釋
不過根據猜測，他在離開公司後或許會從事政治，也可能會籌組義大利中立政黨

至於LdM離開的空缺，據推測會由集團副主席John Elkann擔任

Montezemolo's involvement with Fiat goes back to the early-1970s when he was
a manager at the Ferrari Formula One team. After leaving the team he
eventually returned to take over the CEO role at Ferrari and led the company
through a period of major growth and expansion. Montezemolo will apparently
remain on Fiat's board of directors.

Montezmolo跟Fiat的關係要追溯到1970年代早期，他還在擔任法拉力f1車隊經理的時候
離開車隊後，他擔任了法拉力的CEO，並帶領公司經歷主要的成長期及擴張期
很明顯的，在未來Montezmolo依然會在fiat董事會佔有一席之地

Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne will also hold a presentation tomorrow to discuss
Fiat's strategy going forward including its U.S. plans and a possible
spin-off of the car business from the rest of the group.

fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne將會出席明天的會議討論公司未來的發展策略，這也包涵
集團的美國計畫；並且分派集團內部的汽車生意

這個小夥子不只是「集團副主席」而已。他是Gianni Agnelli（！！）的外孫，
母親是Gianni Agnelli的女兒Margherita（父親是義大利名作家Alain Elkann），
舅公是Umberto Agnelli（！）, John因為表哥Giovanni Alberto胃癌驟逝（得年33歲）
所以被外公和舅公選入董事會作為接班人（原先的接班人正是Giovanni Alberto）。@@
Elkann的婚姻也不簡單，他娶的是米蘭當地的貴族家庭Borromeo的女兒Lavinia.........

現在他當上FIAT的主席了。Hail to a new Agnelli!!!!lol
