[閒聊] Renault測試車手Montagny宣布將離開車隊

  Renault's test driver Franck Montagny has announced he will quit Renault.
 After three years under contract with the team the French driver now aims
for a race drive at Midland next season. Earlier this season Montagny
already drove for Jordan-Midland at the Nurburgring in Friday's free
practice sessions.

  His role of development and reserve driver since 2003 has greatly
contributed, by way of tens of thousands of km that he carried out in
testing at the wheel of the Renault single-seater, with all the successes
gained by the team in the past two seasons as well as their championship
driver's title in 2005.

  Montagny did reveal though that a seat in F1 would need financial
support of one or more partners…

  Now Montagny has left the team it opens the way for Finland's Heikki
Kovalainen.
