Lewis Hamilton says he will not seek out the advice of two past British world
champions.
HAM說，他不會尋求兩位英國籍前世界冠軍的建議。

Amid the McLaren driver's current trough, and the negative vibes in the
press, Sir Jackie Stewart and Damon Hill in particular have been forthright
with their views about how the 23-year-old might deal with the current
low-point and return to top form.
因為HAM現在場上的掙扎表現以及場外的不良媒體關係，
英國籍的兩位世界冠軍Sir Jackie Stewart 和 Damon Hill，都提供了自己的看法，
希望可以幫助HAM脫離低潮重返巔峰。

But despite Stewart and Hill sharing four drivers' titles between them,
Hamilton – very much centre stage ahead of the British Grand Prix - insists
that nobody is in a position to counsel him.
雖然兩人加起來有四座世界冠軍，
不過本週英國大賽當然焦點的HAM明白表示，
沒有人是他的諮詢對象。

"I'm in a unique position," the Briton is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
"Nobody has felt exactly the same things as I've felt. The only person I
really take advice from is my dad."
HAM：
"我現在在一個很獨特的位子上。
 沒有人能夠完全感受我所感受的。
 我唯一接受的建議來自於我爸爸。"

Hamilton insists that he does not ignore the advice of Stewart and Hill.
"Whenever I speak to Damon or Jackie I do take what they say on board, but
I'm not going to go searching them out and ask how I can be world champion. I
want to do it on my own. I got to where I am on my own, with my family," he
said.
HAM也說，他不會忽略來自Stewart 和 Hill的建議。
HAM：
"當我和他兩說話的時候，我會把他們說的話記下來。
 不過我不打算請他們幫我做諮詢，也不打算問他們怎麼樣成為世界冠軍。
 我要用自己的方法成為冠軍。
 我現在的地位就是我，跟我的家庭，自己掙來的。"

Hamilton this week also denied that he is at war with the media.
HAM也否認了他與媒體之間的"戰爭"。

"I'm not criticising you," he told reporters in the run-up to this weekend's
British Grand Prix at Silverstone. "You guys have a job to do and so do I.
That's why I'm always totally open with you. You were very supportive last
year. You know me - I don't bullshit. You help me get my message across.”
HAM：
"我不是在批評你們(媒體)。
 你們有你們的工作，而我有我的。
 那就是我總是對你們很坦白的原因。
 去年你們對我非常的支持。
 你們知道我--我絕不唬爛。
 你們幫我把我的訊息傳達出去。"

“You help me shine as a normal person to the public. That's why these people
are standing outside waiting to see me."
HAM：
"你們幫我這個平凡人製造出耀眼的光芒。
 那就是為何這些人站在那邊等待著想看我一眼。"

Meanwhile, after a poor run in Montreal and Magny Cours, McLaren Chief
Executive Martin Whitmarsh has backed the Mercedes-powered team's relatively
inexperienced driver line-up. "With both Lewis and Heikki, we're convinced
we've got the right blend of youth and enthusiasm to tackle the challenge of
winning races and challenging for the Championship," Whitmarsh stated. 
在此同時，雖然連續兩場的成績皆不如預期，
不過麥拉倫CEO Martin Whitmarsh還是對於自己車隊上，
相對年輕無經驗的車手陣容具有信心。
Martin Whitmarsh：
"從我們的車手身上，我們相信我們有年輕和熱誠的最佳混和比例。
 這個比例將會是我們爭冠的最佳動力。"
