Heidfeld’s seat safe for now
BMW Sauber to look at its options for 2009

BMW Sauber team boss Mario Theissen has dismissed suggestions that the German
squad is contemplating replacing the struggling Nick Heidfeld sooner rather
than later.
BMW老闆馬力歐先生否認車隊正在考慮是否撤換Nick Heidfeld。

Heidfeld is believed to have a contract for the 2009 season, but his
difficulty in keeping up with Robert Kubica this year has thrown his future
into doubt.
外界認為Nick手上是有2009年合約的。
不過他今年大幅落後隊友庫必殺的表現讓他的職業生涯出現了個大問號。

He finished a miserable 13th in the French Grand Prix at the weekend, but as
to rumours of a seat switch before the end of the season, Theissen said that
is ‘currently not an issue’.
Nick在法國只拿下難堪的第13名。
傳聞也說，繼續這樣下去，在賽季結束前，BMW就會換掉Nick。
不過馬力歐先生說，"那目前不是我們的討論之一。"

Waiting anxiously in the wings, however, is the ever-present test and reserve
driver Christian Klien, who was asked by motorline.cc to comment on
Heidfeld's predicament.
在旁邊也很覬覦正式車手的Christian Klien，倒是做出了以下的評論。

"If your team-mate is always faster in qualifying than you, then it is
obvious that there is a certain amount of pressure. But he has certainly not
forgotten how to drive and I am sure he will get a grip on it."
Christian Klien：
"如果你的隊友在每次的排位賽都比你快，那當然是很大的壓力。
 不過他還沒有失去開車的本領，而我也相他將會重整旗鼓的。"

Theissen said the driver decision for 2009 is some way off yet. "We will
decide in the summer, probably in the second half of August,"  he said.  "But
it could also happen sooner or later.
馬力歐先生說，2009年的車手陣容尚未底定。
馬力歐先生：
"我們會在夏天做出決定，有可能在八月後半段。
 不過也有可能早點或是晚點啦。"

"The situation is not easy for Nick because he must try to get at the same
level as Robert, but at the moment he (Kubica) is quick in every situation."
馬力歐先生：
"對於Nick來說，情況當然不輕鬆。
 他必須要試著讓自己的表現跟庫必殺一樣好，
 可庫必殺現在在任何狀況下，表現都相當好。"

Theissen said of Heidfeld: "We have given him much support over the past
weeks."
馬力歐先生：
"過去幾個星期中，我們給了Nick很多的支持。"
