Brawn plays down Alonso-Honda link
Team not ready for top-line drivers
Ross Brawn has played down reports the Honda team aspires to put Fernando
Alonso at the wheel of one of its cars in 2009.
Brawn否認了Honda將會爭取阿龍索成為2009車隊車手。
The Brackley-based marque's Team Principal was quoted by foreign media this
week as saying every team including Honda wants to work with Alonso, the
former double world champion.
之前，Brawn被引述的談話中說道，
每支車隊，包括Honda在內，都對於與兩屆世界冠軍阿龍索共事非常有興趣。
But subsequently to the BBC, Brawn admitted that, while Honda is 'flattered'
by the link to one of F1's best drivers, the team is not ready to work with
the Spaniard.
不過根據BBC後續報導，Brawn說，
雖然Honda對於能跟現今F1最好車手之一的阿龍索有連結，感到"受寵若驚"；
不過Honda還沒有準備好與阿龍索一起工作。
"I think we've got to get ourselves sorted out as a team first before we
start aspiring to drivers of that sort," he said.
Brawn：
"我想我們應該先把車隊的基本樣子完成，
我們再來如何想想與這種等級的車手合作。"
Brawn said current team drivers Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button, who are
both out of contract at the end of 2008, are 'very good'.
Brawn說，現在Honda的兩位車手，老巴小巴，都是"非常好"的車手。
老巴小巴的合約都將在2008年賽季末結束。
"Either of them have shown themselves capable of winning races," he insists.
"Let's wait and see what happens this year."
Brawn：
"他們兩個都展現出可以獲勝的本事。
我們就等著看今年之後還會有什麼樣的表現吧。"
