  Jenson Button hopes that Michael Schumacher signs a new deal to
remain in Formula One beyond the end of the season.

    鈕釦希望大舒在本季結束之後能簽下新的合約續留F1。

  The Honda driver told TV Movie magazine that he hoped the seven
time World Champion does not retire, despite speculation that the
reaction to Schumacher's Monaco indiscretion might compel him to
call it a day.

    這位本田的車手對TV Movie雜誌表示他希望7屆世界冠軍的大舒不要
退休，儘管傳言指出各方對大舒在Monaco的作為產生的反應可能迫使他做
出退休的決定。

  "I hope Schumacher remains with us for a long time yet," said
Button.

    鈕釦說：「我希望大舒能繼續和我們一起」

  The Englishman's opinion may be influenced by the fact that he
is yet to win a Grand Prix. Fernando Alonso has remarked that F1's
biggest prize will be devalued once arguably the greatest driver
of all time quits.

    英國佬的意見可能是受到他還沒贏過一場GP的影響。小新已經表示，
若史上最偉大的車手退出了，那F1的「最大獎」大概也要減低不少價值。
(意指如果史上最偉大的車手不在F1了，拿下的世界冠軍在份量和意義上
都將失色不少)

  Button, though, admitted that title glory is some way off for
him. "Unfortunately," said the Honda star, "we are no threat to
Renault and Alonso at the moment."

    儘管如此，鈕釦承認說世界冠軍的光榮對來他來說有些漸行漸遠了，
這位本田的明星車手說：「在目前我們對雷諾和小新毫無威脅。」

  The next race, at Silverstone, is Button's home event. "I just
hope it goes well there," he said after his Monaco struggle.

    下一站在英國的銀石是鈕釦的主場，在Monaco的掙扎比賽後，他說：
「我只希望在那裡能一切順利。」

其實我相信現役車手們或多或少都會以MS做為一個標竿
其中最早有這個感受的不知道會不會就屬他老弟

還記得Ralf 2002年還在BMW-Willams的時候曾經有表示過
他希望能在哥哥退役前拿下至少一屆的總冠
這樣代表著他自己也真正有那個實力在比賽場上挑戰他老哥
而不是等哥哥退役後才"給了他機會"

當時和他競爭最激烈的對手恐怕不外乎就是隊友蒙小胖

時隔數年 我是不知道他是不是還跟當年一樣有著如此抱負
希望能在頭又大拿下總冠?
