Too late for Button to be champion - Daly
Hunger to win now lost for the Honda racer

Jenson Button's opportunity to ever become world champion may have passed him
by, according to former driver Derek Daly.
前F1車手Derek Daly說，
小巴贏得世界冠軍的機會，可能已經與小巴擦身而過了。

Daly, who competed in Formula one in the late 70s to early 80s and is now a
commentator, has written in a book that the fact Button's career stagnated at
Honda may mean he now never wins a title.
Daly是七零年代後段和八零年代前期的車手，目前則是評論員。
在他的書中，他說，小巴在Homda停滯不前的表現，可能代表著他不會拿下冠軍頭銜了。

He said that when Button, 28, switched from Benetton to Honda-powered BAR
earlier this decade, he looked like a future champion.
Daly說，小巴從Benetton轉隊到BAR的時候，
小巴看起來就像個未來冠軍。

"The team then faltered," he said in his book 'Race To Win', of which
extracts were published by The Sun newspaper on Friday.
在他的書，“Race to Win”中，Daly說：

"Jenson will have lost the Hamilton-Kubica type of hunger-drive and sometimes
it's hard to get that back," Daly, 53, wrote.
Daly：

Daly also offers critical observations about many of Button's current F1
rivals, including championship contenders Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa.

He said Hamilton's 'technical abilities' - as well as Williams racer Nico
Rosberg's - will not yet be 'fully developed'.
他說HAM和螺絲寶的「科技能力」(technical abilities)，尚未「發展完成」。

Daly, meanwhile, questions Ferrari driver Massa's 'mental capacity'.
對於Massa，Daly則是質疑他的「心智能力」。

"When he runs out of capacity he flies off the road," he said of Massa.
Daly是這樣說Massa的：
"當他超出他的能力範圍的時候，他就跑出賽道。"

Daly advises Heikki Kovalainen to stop trying so hard. "If his expectations
were lowered he could develop to be superb in two years."
Daly建議小科，不要太過要求。
Daly：
"如果他的標準設低一點，在兩年內，他將成為一個很棒的車手。"
