Coulthard names Vettel
An ideal successor for Red Bull

David Coulthard has named Sebastian Vettel as his preferred successor at Red
Bull Racing.
DC點名Vettel是他中意的接替人選。

After announcing his impending retirement at Silverstone last weekend, the
veteran Scot said German youngster Vettel, 21, "has everything a future F1
winner needs."
上週末宣布於今年賽季結束後退休的DC說，
21歲的Vettel"有未來F1贏家的各種本事"。

Vettel, under contract to the energy drink company and racing for sister team
Toro Rosso, is already strongly linked with the 2009 seat.
在DC點名之前，Vettel坐上DC空下位置的傳言就已經沸沸揚揚了。

Mark Webber, who has been confirmed as a continuing Red Bull Racing driver
for next year, is also believed to have publicly named Vettel as a
frontrunner for the ride at the scene of the British Grand Prix.
而紅牛另一位車手Mark Webber，也被認為公開點名Vettel為明年的隊友。

Coulthard, a 13-time winner who made his Grand Prix debut in 1994, told F1's
official website of Vettel: "His maturity and approach shows me that he is
the best man for the job."
DC：
"Vettel的成熟度跟賽車技術，讓我理解到，
 他是這個位置的不二人選。"

"So I am very confident that he would be able to do a very good job for Red
Bull Racing."
DC：
"因此，我相當有信心他會表現很好的。"

Coulthard also gave a big hint that, alongside his consultancy and occasional
testing role at RBR next year, he may spend time in the F1 paddocks as a
special television pundit.
DC也暗示，
除了在紅牛的顧問以及測試工作之外，
他將會在F1車庫中，擔任特別評論員的工作。

"On the side of the media, I can contribute a lot, as I have the knowledge of
what its like inside a team," he said.
DC：
"從媒體的角度來看，因為我對F1車隊的了解，
 我將可以貢獻許多。"
