    Finnish rookie Heikki Kovalainen has admitted to staging talks with 'many'
Formula One teams, including McLaren, about the 2008 season.

    芬蘭新人 Kovalainen 承認他跟很多車隊在談 2008 年的車手位置，包括麥拉拉。

    The 26-year-old has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Fernando
Alonso, particularly amid rumours that the unhappy Spaniard might be set to
switch from the Woking-based team to Renault or BMW next year.

    在眾多的乳摸中，這位26歲的菜鳥可能會跟小新作交換，讓不快樂的西班牙人明年
可以換跑道回雷諾或是去BMW。

    Kovalainen and his team-mate this season, Giancarlo Fisichella, have yet
to be re-signed for Renault, as a growing swathe of their fellow drivers
await a late silly-season rush in the event that Alonso does indeed make a
move.

    雷諾遲遲不跟今年的兩位車手續約，等著看小新是不是真的會離開麥拉拉。

    In an interview with ITV, Kovalainen admitted that McLaren might be
interested in him for 2008, but jokingly rued his poor qualifying performance
at the season finale last Sunday.

    在 ITV 的專訪中，小柯承認麥拉拉可能會對他有興趣，但也開玩笑的談到了最後
一站那個慘不忍睹的結局。

    "They probably would have thought 'maybe better not to think about him',"
he said. "But honestly, we have been talking to many teams and all I can say
is I have a contract with Renault until the end of the year.

    「他們可能因此會覺得『還是別提那傢伙了』」，小柯說：「但事實上我們跟很多
車隊都談過了，但是我只能講我跟雷諾的約到年底。」

    "We have to wait and see what the other guys do."

    「我們要 wait and see 其他人的決定。」
