Veteran racer looks back on life at Ferrari

Jean Alesi has told Ferrari's new signing, Kimi Raikkonen, that driving
for the Maranello based team in F1 is a privilege.
Alesi叔叔告訴Ferrari的新車手紅蛋，在F1駕駛紅色躍馬戰車是一項殊榮。
The Frenchman, who has now left Germany's DTM touring car series, raced
for the Italian team between 1991 and 1995.
這位目前甫離開德國DTM賽事的法國車手，他曾於1991-1995年間效力於紅軍。
"Ferrari? It is the best place to be in F1," 42-year-old Alesi, having
raced his last Grand Prix for Jordan in 2001, told the magazine Auto Motor
und Sport.
「紅軍？那是F1最棒的地方了」於2001年為計程車車隊跑完自己生涯的最後一
場GP、現年42歲的Alesi叔叔對 Auto Motor und Sport雜誌如此表示。
He added: "For Raikkonen, a paradise awaits."
他補充道：「對紅蛋來說，天堂就在那等著啊！」
"I remember signing autographs for a whole hour on an Italian freeway -
just because I drove for Ferrari. It's like being a doctor - you are
respected for it all over the world. "
Alesi insists that he does not regret pulling out of a deal with Williams
in 1991 to drive a less competitive Ferrari.
Alesi堅持自己並不後悔於1991年時毀棄和Williams的合約轉而駕駛缺乏競爭力
的紅色躍馬賽車。
"You say I could have become world champion? I also could have died. Like
(Ayrton) Senna, who also drove for Williams, who knows what my destiny could
have been."
「(如果加入Williams)你說我可能會變成世界冠軍？我也可能會丟了性命，就如
同效力於Williams的洗拿一樣，誰知道我的命運將會是怎樣？」
