Murtosa Pleased With Mission Accomplished

Fortune was rolling 3s for Portugal as the Seleccao das Quinas won their
first match in three long rounds, habitual Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari
suspended for the first of three official matches and faithful assistant
Flavio 'Murtosa' Teixeira calling the shots from the sidelines…
In the wake of the win, Flavio Murtosa was evidently pleased. "I think that
the principal order of the day was a win and the three points. It wasn't a
spectacular game but it did was primordial to win and we accomplished our
mission."
Murtosa admitted that the win wasn't a stroll in the park. "We always knew
that it could be a dangerous match even though we are superior on paper they
had the home edge, but we managed to make the game our own", he analysed.
Replacing Scolari was no big deal for the Brazilian who's also a Portuguese
citizen. "It's normal and has happened before [in Brazil] and as it wasn't
the first time so I knew how to do things and could be confident in being
able to continue the style that we have adopted", added the tactician.
As to the next game against Kazakhstan on Wednesday Murtosa continued his
own policy of diplomacy and told RTP that "we must think of Kazakhstan as a
difficult rival and we have to recharge our batteries and then put on minds
firmly on preparing for the Kazakhstan match", he underlined.
