Well,對老將和中生代有點不太公平,不過青春比較有話題性啦...
還有這報導裡面有些人不是很年輕欸XD
France for world domination?

A few years ago, if you asked someone to name a French tennis player
other than Amelie Mauresmo, you'd probably be greeted with a vacant stare.
These days however, you'd most likely be met with a torrent of names.
Perhaps it's something in the Evian, but whatever the case, France seems
to have tennis players coming out of its proverbial ears.
An emerging star is Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, into the third round of Australian
Open 2008 after defeating Britain's highest hope, ninth seed Andy Murray
in the first round. This result gave the British yet another reason to
dislike him after he knocked out Tim Henman in the second round of the
US Open last year in the British veteran's last ever match.
Tsonga, who gave Andy Roddick quite a scare in the first round here last
year when he took him to four sets, creating the longest tie-breaker in
Australian Open history 20-18 in the process. He also managed a fourth
round appearance at Wimbledon last year and finishing the year in the
top 50 for the first time.
Apart from the talented Tsonga, the third round in the men's draw is full
of French players among them world No. 8 Richard Gasquet, Marc Gicquel who
has already upset 26th seed Stalnislas Wawrinka, and No. 28 seed Gilles
Simon who demolished former Australian Open runner-up Rainer Schuttler
in a convincing straight sets win, hardly allowing the German a look-in
on the scoreboard.
No. 23 seed Paul-Henri Mathieu is also still alive and kicking going into
his third round match against Stephan Koubek, although this could be an
interesting match-up given Koubek managed to knock out Spanish 16th seed
Carlos Moya in the first round.
In the women's draw things are not quite so rosy, but this is due largely
to some unfortunate circumstances bringing many of France's top women into
contact with players they probably would have preferred to avoid until
further on in the tournament.
Camille Pin gave Venus Williams a run for her money in the second round,
breaking the American powerhouse six times during the match. Pin might
also be remembered for her impressive performance against Maria Sharapova
in the first round of the Australian Open last year where she took the
eventual runner up to 9-7 in the third set.
Likewise, 17 year-old Alize Cornet fought hard against world No. 9 Daniela
Hantuchova in their second round match, managing to break her opponent five
times.
Successful third round contenders include the enduring Amelie Mauresmo,
Virginie Razzano and Aravane Rezai.
All in all the future is looking bright for the future of French tennis
as some of the younger players begin to make their mark on the game and
some familiar faces continue to stamp their names all over it.
In fact, this year, France has the largest number of entrants into the
tournament of any country, as well as the second largest number of players
remaining four days into the tournament, surpassed only by Russia.
So as the third round begins tomorrow, we wish the French bon chance in
their bid for world (tennis) domination.
