Grosjean fell two sets down as he struggled to find his rhythm early on. But he battled his way back into the match, winning a marathon sixth game to earn a break in the third set. That was enough to clinch the set, and he broke the Mantilla serve three times as he took the fourth set 6-3 to set up the decider. Having cut down on unforced errors, Grosjean looked in pole position heading into the final set, particularly as Mantilla had mounting problems of his own. As well as facing the fatigue of having to go the distance for a fourth match in succession, the Spaniard had to take a break in the closing game of the fourth set for treatment to his back. As expected, Grosjean duly took the initiative at the start of the fifth set with an early break. But Mantilla found fresh inspiration to break back in the seventh game. However, Grosjean regained his poise to power back in the next game, and clinched the deciding break as tension mounted after a succession of deuces. The Frenchman then calmly served out to set up a quarter-final clash with Andre Agassi. -- ★wake up nico when he dreams★ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.csie.ntu.edu.tw) ◆ From: 218.187.40.13
