Junior Finalists Decided

In a surprising upset in the boys' draw, No. 5 seed Marcos Baghdatis of
Cyprus defeated No. 2 seed Robin Soderling of Sweden in two tie-break
sets, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (4). Baghdatis took advantage of his strong serve to
pound away at Soderling, posting 10 aces to Soderling's five.

Joining Baghdatis in the final is No. 1 seed Richard Gasquet of France.
Gasquet survived a first-set scare to young Aussie, Ryan Henry, before
taking the next two sets and the match, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4. Henry
demonstrated strong talent in the match, smashing 10 aces and winning
93 total points, but it wasn't enough to pass Gasquet, the French Open
junior champion, who had rocket baseline strokes and won102 total points
in the match.
