wrist injury, couldn't squeeze past Switzerland's Michel Kratochvil and
fell in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6(5). Kratochvil won his sixth match of the
season in his second appearance at Delray Beach. The Swiss player's only
other appearance in Delray Beach came in 2000 when he lost to Chris Woodruff
in three sets.
