Birthday Boy Gasquet Claims Title

Saturday's final saw a new champion lift The 10tele.com Open singles
title with the No.4 seed Richard Gasquet of France defeating the No.8
Seed Max Mirnyi of Belarus 6-2, 6-3 to claim his first ATP singles title
of his career and cap an extremley memorable 19th birthday.

After the match Gasquet said,

"It's a fantastic moment for me because it is my first title, I played a
great final, and on my birthday it's a dream for me."

"I have a lot of confidence for Wimbledon, I can go far."

The doubles final will be contended between top seeds Simon Aspelin of
Sweden and Todd Perry of Australia vs. the 2nd seeds and Israeli pair of
Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram.
