Faye Wong Won't Sue After All

Ice Queen Faye Wong has decided to be lenient with local
radio station y.e.s 93.3 FM.
Yes, Her Majesty will not sue the popular radio station
for copyright infringement of her song 'Exciting', which
was remixed by the station's DJ.
The Mandarin station had superimposed that
controversial "what has this got to do with you" statement
made by Wong at a Pepsi press conference in August
onto her hit single from her latest album released under
EMI. That retort was made after a reporter asked the Diva
about the divorce proceedings between her and rocker
Dou Wei.
Though Wong and her manager had accepted y.e.s 93.3 FM's apology and will
not pursue this matter any further, Wong's manager commented that the station's
explanation of the DJ's action was not adequate.
y.e.s 93.3 FM, Singapore's top radio station, is standing behind its DJ as
the remix was not done to harm, but was just an intention to explore
creativity.
The offensive remix of 'Exciting' was only aired six times over two days,
due to complains from EMI and some late-night listeners.
