WIMBLEDON champion Roger Federer is mourning the loss of his prize cow
Juliette.

Federer received the animal from the Swiss nation just after he had won his
first All-England title in 2003.

But unfortunately, the cow, unlike Federer who is going for his fifth men’s
 title in a row, was not prolific enough for farmers.

After having a calf, Juliette was deemed not to produce enough milk and sent
to the local abattoir in the Swiss Alps.

How this news will affect Federer isn’t known, but he seemed okay during his
 straight sets win over Teimi Gabashvili in the first round.

所以Roger應該在這次溫網之前就知道了...

這篇是說茱麗葉生了小牛以後產乳量就不足了，所以被送去屠宰場殺掉

事先大概是沒問過Roger，所以這篇才會提到Roger很傷心～

以下節錄重點

Perhaps we shouldn't be making jokes about rumps. I read that the cow presented
 to Roger Federer by the Swiss public in 2003 when he won his first Wimbledon
 was slaughtered because it had not been producing enough milk. Federer was
unaware of this, but being a proud son of the East Rand he would understand
that you can't let 800kg of beef go to waste, especially if it's not producing
 any milk. When Federer received the cow (called Juliette) he said he would
 learn how to milk it. Paris Hilton, on the other hand, is a bovine princess
 who has learnt to milk having no knickers or talent for all they are worth.
 It's beyond time she followed Juliette to the slaughterhouse.

基本上是說Roger不知道Juliette要被殺掉
（對照上篇跟前後文我覺得應該是指事前不知道）

然後又說雖然Roger不知道
不過他們相信Roger應該知道800公斤的牛肉不該被浪費（。。。。。。）
尤其是這隻牛已經不能製造牛奶了～

我覺得這篇真的是打擊到我，Juliette怎麼可以等同八百公斤的牛肉。。。
這豈不是在跟我說我家的狗等同三公斤的狗肉，我等同？公斤的人肉。。。
反正我跟我家的狗都沒在製造milk。。。

總括看起來這件事情是在今年溫網之前就發生
Roger是事後才知道，他也很傷心，不過溫網打得看起來沒有太大問題（？）

唉，我還是覺得很可惜，很可惜。。。
