學科能力測驗試題相關問題說明
1. 英文科第貳題，一、簡答題
說明：英文科非選擇題部分的簡答題，與家教班資料綜合測驗題，所選用的文章
相同疑義之說明。
(1) 本中心確定本年度該科命題人員並未參與任何補習班、家教班工作，如有質
疑，可由有關單位依法調查。
(2) 本中心學測簡答題選文摘自504 Absolutely Essential Words (1996), p.29。
(3) 仔細比較兩題，不難發現兩題選文雖相同，但測驗目標及試題均完全不同。
家教班之選文用途，在於將文章刪去部分用字；學測之選文則用於回答相關
問題。家教班之試題，以測考生的文法概念及詞彙知識為主。但是，要作答
本次學測的簡答題，除了要讀懂該選文外，還需要有理解及統整能力，以及
基本的表達能力。
(4) 由於選文所用的字辭，並無特別難懂的部分，再加上學科能力測驗並非速度
測驗，要回答本次學測的簡答題，並不必事前先讀過此文。即便看過該篇文
章的考生，不可能單憑記憶，不看試題即可直接作答，仍需重新加以統整，
方能作答。
(5) 本中心經仔細考量上述各點，認為素材雖相同，問題型式與測驗目標完全不
同，應不會造成考試不公的情形。
