這是西海岸進攻（WCO）的要義，我從網路上拖來的，
抱歉我就懶得翻譯了。我手頭上有個 pdf 是真的西海岸
進攻的 playbook，這個稍微整理後再看看怎麼 po 上來。
（有六十七頁那麼長，有人要幫忙整理是非常歡迎啦）
與 GLB 有關的應用、概念、策略等見 --> 符號之註。
-- According to Bill Walsh, in the ideal setup, the wide
receivers would catch 15 passes a game, the running
backs would catch 10 and the tight ends would catch 5.
A team is looking for 25 first downs a game. These
quantities are referred to as "Walsh's numbers."
--> 我想這大概也說明了我們分給 HB,FB,TE,WR 的傳球
比例，不過當然，大家接球能力不一，受到的防守壓
力也不同，詳細就要由 OC 來調整了。
-- Short-to-medium-range passing attack. Receivers are
expected to "Run After Catch."
--> 短中傳為主的概念這我們瞭解，不過 YAC 則是我們
目前可能比較缺乏的地方，畢竟不是每個球員都是
Jerry Rice，話又說回來，跑鋒和 TE 在這方面至少
在養成上應該沒有太大的問題，他們的攻擊模式在傳
球中本來就是接球後再跑陣，倒是 WR 在這方面可能
需要在養成上配合一番。
-- Players must have more discipline; they have little
opportunity for freelancing.
--> 還好 GLB 是電腦模擬XD
我這輩子大概不可能真的去下場打美式足球吧特別是
當我一個大陸同學跑去跟老美湊熱鬧結果一個 Tackle
之後倒地不起兩隊人馬暨裁判啦啦隊一哄而散還要路
邊遛狗老太太打電話叫救護車送醫躺醫院兩個月治療
腦震盪之後我當下決定這類運動只應該在賽博空間中
存在啊。
-- Use the pass to set up the run. The most successful
WCO teams run the ball well.
--> 有趣，這跟我們常聽到的靠跑陣來建立傳球攻勢的
老生常談不同。不過我想一個主要概念就是靠傳球來
建立良好的跑陣啟動點，這個我不確定最終的 Offense AI
系統裡面會給我們有多少自由度，但觀察對手陣容
的弱點我想是絕對必要的。
-- If a team gains 7-8 yards per run, it can run as little
as one out of four plays; otherwise, the WCO calls for
an equal number of running and passing plays.
--> 這個可能需要就過去比賽的結果分析一下，不過我想
我們不管哪一隊都沒有到這個數字。我略查了一下，
我們的攻擊大概是落在「正常」的三到四碼之間，也
就是說我們適用所謂「正常」的一半一半比率。
-- The quarterback must be mobile, be able to throw a touch
pass with accuracy, and be intelligent. He must throw on
rhythm and timing. As Steve Young says, "In contrast,
the West Coast offense as it originated with Bill Walsh
is any play or set of plays that tie the quarterback's feet
to the receiver's route so there is a sense of timing."
--> 感謝上帝，我們不用操心這件事情。
-- In the 2-WR, 2-RB, 1-TE base set, any of these five
players can be the primary receiver at any given time.
--> 白話：只要有心，人人都可以是接球員（大誤）
-- Defenses are given a variety of looks, with an offense
attacking a defense with more receivers than it can cover.
Mismatches and confusion are created on defense by using 2
TE sets, 4 WR sets, and 3 WR sets, etc.
--> 簡言之，戰術要多變，已造成敵方困擾，當然，在 GLB
中，指的是造成敵方 DC 的困擾。
-- Using motion forces a defense to cover players with
inappropriate players for coverage, i.e., it creates mismatches.
--> 這個在 GLB 中不存在，可以不用擔心。
-- Throw the football on any down or distance.
--> 要緊，不能讓場上的客觀情勢阻擋傳球的決心？XD
-- To maintain ball control, short passes to the tight end
and swing passes to running backs are key. Use tight ends
who can catch better than block if there is a question of
personnel. Tight ends are key to a red zone attack.
--> 重點：TE,Red zone offense......
-- The quarterback must be able to release the ball quickly
and accurately on timing after a 3-step drop. Receivers run
precision routes. The offense is designed to keep the quarterback
healthy.
--> 當你有一個四分衛叫 Joe Montana 的時候，這一點是
很重要沒錯啦.......
我個人喜歡西海岸進攻的原因很簡單，我第一個認識的
球隊就是我舅從舊金山帶回來的舊金山四九人隊，還有
冠軍特集的錄影帶可以看勒，重點是，幹，把一隻球隊
的精彩鏡頭通通剪起來給幼小天真的心靈看，不會成為
球迷大概也很難吧，我可不可以告我舅廣告不實啊-_-
不過廣告不實也沒有太久啦，當我看電視轉播四九人九
零年在超級盃把 John Elway 打的屁滾尿流之後......
講到這個，John Elway 在我家對面開了一家二手汽車
交易店，我不是虎爛的，我打開窗戶就可以看到，主要
賣 Nissan 的車為主。通常二手車商定期都會寄宣傳郵
件到附近鄰居信箱裡。有一天，我打開信箱，第一頁就
是一個 Elway 寶寶跟你說早安鄉親好，我心想，幹，
loser 啊！好吧，看在大家都要討生活的份上。
-- After the QB drops 3-steps back, one of the receivers
should be open to catch a pass if necessary. Ron Jenkins
calls him the HOT receiver.
--> 不太相關
-- Power running behind zone blocking to minimize negative
yardage plays. This is a departure from the 49ers version
of the WCO that used man-blocking and cut blocks and misdirection.
--> 重要，但在 GLB 裡面不是那麼相關，因為沒有 Blocking Scheme
可以選.....
