Proponents of irradiation point out that irradiation is no worse in this
respect than cooking. However, this fact is either beside the point, since

思路:
1.題目的推論在句however之後 ,
目的: 反對irradiation對營養造成的損害沒有比cooking大
負負得正,可得結論的方向是認為irradtion對營養傷害很大
並不下於cooking
2.以下有兩個原因 (因or後平衡兩個since)
原因1. 有些食材 是拿來生吃的
原因2. 看到這邊我會想到生吃以外的理由
因為題目說 either beside 又說 or else
所以我會想選"熟食造成影響"的理由
C)cooking is usually the final step in preparing food for consumption, whereas
irradiation serves to ensure a longer shelf life for perishable foods
選項C說沒有指cooking或是irradiation對營養造成的損害和推論無關..
E)for food that is both irradiated and cooked, the reduction of vitamin B1
associated with either process individually is compounded
如果有irradiation又有cooking會有加成效果 所以熟食也會造成很大的損害
